Kristian Prior

Kristian received his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2007. Upon graduating, he joined the NYC Fire academy and has been with the FDNY ever since. He is now a Lieutenant with over 18 years of fire operations experience and over 3 years working with the Strategic Innovation Group at FDNY headquarters. The goal of the Strategic Innovation Group is to implement emerging technologies in the antiquated processes of the FDNY. Using his education and knowledge, Kristian is able to bridge the gap between fire operations and technology. He started Peconic Technology to bring this expertise outside the FDNY. Kristian enjoys helping people in anyway that he can.
